The Low Down
Don't worry, babe. Here's all the deets.
-
Intro LevelI have never experienced pole before or I am still practicing fundamentals and technique. I'm learning to perform basics like front hook, back hook, and pole sits.
-
Level 1 - The BeginnerI'm a beginner poler who knows a front hook and back hook but cannot invert. I may be learning inverts, but cannot yet perform them consistently or cleanly.
-
Level 1.5 - The ClimberI can confidently climb the length of the pole. I may or may not have a consistent invert from the ground, but I know some upside down shapes like layback and leg hangs.
-
Level 2 - The InverterI can invert confidently from the ground but cannot yet perform aerial inverts consistently or cleanly.
-
Level 3 - The AerialistI can invert confidently from the air, but cannot yet hold handsprings consistently or cleanly.
-
Level 4 - The HandspringerI can perform moves with 2 points of contact, such as handspring, ayesha, and cocoon. I may only be able to perform a single entrance or exit to my hardest moves.
-
Level 5 - The EliteI can perform many 2 points of contact moves, and have many entrances, exits, and combinations of my hardest moves.
