Service Description

Level: High Intermediate & Advanced Prerequisites: Comfortable with strong inverts and leg hangs (Gemini, Scorpio). Helpful but not required: Brass Monkey and Ayesha This workshop is all about beautiful, bendy shapes. Students will learn some of my favorite bendy pole shapes, rotations, and transitions, plus drills to improve shoulder mobility and back flexibility for cleaner lines and stronger engagement. Expect to explore shapes from leg hangs, laybacks, Brass Monkey, or Ayesha. ABOUT STEPHANIE TALLANT'S TEACHINGS: Stephanie’s goal is to lead workshops that feel good in the body — where dancers leave with new tools, not just new tricks. Her teaching blends technique, artistry, and body awareness. She emphasizes the “why” behind movement as much as the “how,” helping students move with greater intention, control, and flow. Every workshop includes a focused warm-up specific to the theme. When available, Stephanie incorporates props such as yoga mats, blocks, straps, or foam rollers to support mobility, strength, and alignment. Her approach is rooted in thoughtful cueing, safe progressions, and a deep love for movement that continues long after class ends. IG: @stephanietallant_pole
