Lengthen & Reach: Climbs & Upright Flow


Service Description

Level: High Beginner & up Prerequisites: Basic spins (front hook, fireman, chair spin), climbs, and pole sit This workshop focuses on creating space and intention in movement. Students will explore shapes and transitions before climbs, upright combos with pole sits, spins, and hood ornament, and how posture, arm pathways, and head movement can bring more grace and expression to their flow. Students will leave with tools to make upright movement feel longer, smoother, and beautifully controlled. ABOUT STEPHANIE TALLANT'S TEACHINGS: Stephanie’s goal is to lead workshops that feel good in the body — where dancers leave with new tools, not just new tricks. Her teaching blends technique, artistry, and body awareness. She emphasizes the “why” behind movement as much as the “how,” helping students move with greater intention, control, and flow. Every workshop includes a focused warm-up specific to the theme. When available, Stephanie incorporates props such as yoga mats, blocks, straps, or foam rollers to support mobility, strength, and alignment. Her approach is rooted in thoughtful cueing, safe progressions, and a deep love for movement that continues long after class ends. IG: @stephanietallant_pole
